Colette Todd is a Chicago-based, four-time Jeff Award–winning actor and singer whose work has been seen on stages throughout the Chicagoland area, including Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre, Writers Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Mercury Theater Chicago, Light Opera Works, Kokandy Productions, and Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre. A former member of Actors’ Equity Association, she has been recognized for both principal and supporting performances in musical theatre, most recently earning the 2025 Jeff Award for her portrayal of Desiree Armfeldt in A Little Night Music. In addition to her performing career, Ms. Todd is a highly respected voice pedagogue and educator, serving as the owner of Star Music Studio in Skokie and having held faculty appointments at Loyola University Chicago, Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, and Carthage College. She holds a Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music and is extensively trained in Somatic Voicework™, bringing a deep commitment to vocal health, expressive and truthful storytelling, and sustainable performance to both the stage and the studio.
